This 5-piece soft pastel set was made by hand at La Maison du Pastel, the oldest pastel manufacturer in the world. The nearly 300 year-old company was built by Henri Roché and is now at the helm of a new generation of the Roche family, Isabelle Roché and her partner, Margaret Zayer. Together they are bringing the atelier back to its 18th and 19th century glory using the same  recipes and processes that have been used since the company's beginnings. This selection of pastels was hand-selected by Margaret from their nearly 1600 colors and was inspired by Dorothy's painting and her favorite flower, the pansy. The set comes in a white wood box, stained and varnished with a walnut finish.
